BBL: Tracking Adaptation Finance: Who is Accountable?

Join us on Thursday, January 29th, 12.30-2.00pm

Adaptation finance accountability is key to addressing global obligations of national governments and international organizations to provide support to developing countries, but actual funding decisions are often made without involving the populations hit first and worst by climate change, or without understanding how communities are vulnerable. So who is accountable for making good use of adaptation funds, and who should hold whom accountable?

Join us for a Brown-Bag Lunch (BBL) at the OpenGov Hub led by our friends at the World Resource Institute who have been working on the Adaptation Finance Accountability Initiative (AFAI), in an effort to promote transparency and accountability of adaptation funds entering recipient countries.
