Evolving Strategies in the Anti-Corruption Agenda: Focusing on Government Effectiveness & Improved Service Delivery

The international community is therefore called more and more to find innovative solutions to this governance challenge locally and to use existing legal frameworks and international norms in more effective ways.

Please join PartnersGlobal and the Open Government Partnership for a discussion on innovations coming directly from civic leaders visiting DC from Europe, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. Member organizations from the Partners Network, together with leading experts, will present a proven strategic approach to building islands of integrity within local governments.
They will also highlight civil society's cooperative advocacy experiences at the national level beyond the traditional watchdog role of NGOs, as well as using technology to engage citizens and help make government more effective.
The Open Government Partnership Support Unit will also reflect on the implications of their
current priorities for promoting greater transparency that translates into real impact on people’s lives.
Thank you for joining us for this participatory discussion, so we can also hear your experiences and strategies.
