Evidence vs. Storytelling: Which Works Better to Convince Skeptics?

Celebrate Open Gov Week 2019 by joining for a stimulating panel discussion comparing evidence versus storytelling approaches that discuss the impact of open government reforms, in order to persuade skeptics and recruit new advocates to join the global open government movement.

How can both the use of evidence/data and compelling stories help support policy reforms? Our panelists will discuss these and other questions by highlighting resources like the Open Government Partnership's Skeptics Guide. The audience will also get the first preview of an exciting new partnership between Open Gov Hub, the Transparency and Accountability Initiative and the nationally-renowned nonprofit StoryCorps.

Lunch will be provided. Space is limited, RSVP to secure your seat.
