Open Gov Hub (OGH) is a dynamic meeting place that brings together people, ideas, and resources to help open up governments and empower citizens around the world. We were co-founded in 2012 as the world’s first innovation hub focused on the theme of “open government” (supporting the 3 values of transparency, accountability and civic participation)

We run a world-class space and support a world-changing network of 80 member organizations (about 300 total people) in Washington, D.C., in addition to 13 affiliate hubs around the world.

We know that resources are always limited for social impact work, so we help organizations share essential resources (including workspace, meeting space, staffing, and back-office services) to be more efficient. We also know that reforming democracies and governments is always complex and difficult, so we create an environment for continual learning, innovation, and collaboration.
