Hosting Our First Resident Photographer

Open Gov Hub’s mission is to foster a dynamic meeting place that helps organizations be more efficient and effective through sharing resources and collaborating.

In our pursuit of constantly finding ways to pool affordable and high-quality services for our nonprofit member network, we recently experimented with offering three-month “Sponsored Residency Membership” - in which we donated a hot desk membership in exchange for services from a local professional with a specialized skill that is valuable to members.

Thanks to an introduction from one of our own members, we recently hosted the wonderful photographer Andy DelGuidice as our first-ever resident photographer, and had a fantastic experience!

While taking advantage of his hot desk membership, Andy regularly offered heavily discounted services through Weekly On-Site Office Hours (ex: headshot sessions, and event photographer).

Read Andy’s full blog with lovely photos and reflections about his experience here.

We look forward to hosting more in-house/resident experts who share their professional services through a sponsored membership in the future! Are you a stellar freelancer looking to work with numerous nonprofits while growing your portfolio - maybe an HR advisor, Web Developer, Event Facilitator, Graphic Designer, or Accountant?
